Kam Neely

President/Owner

Kam graduated from Spartanburg High School, Furman University (summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa) and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and he is an Eagle Scout. He is the fourth generation in his family to enter the building supply business and began his career almost twenty years ago driving trucks, working as a warehouse employee, servicing customer jobsites and learning by osmosis. Kam is passionate about his company's focus on knowledge-based customer service and makes it his goal to train his staff as window, door and millwork professionals, not salesmen. He relishes most in providing answers to his customers' most challenging millwork demands; and where other vendors claim it can't be done, he strives to find a way to make it happen. Kam is a member of First Presbyterian Church in downtown Spartanburg where he has served on the Session, as Chair of the Diaconate, Sunday School Teacher, member of the Sustainability Committee, Long-Range Planning Committee, Recreation Committee, Scout Leader and Chair of Live Events and Missions committees. A graduate of Junior Achievement, Boys State, SC Governor's School of the Arts and Leadership Spartanburg, Kam has also served on the Boards of Mobile Meals, Hub Culture, Hub City Writer's Project, Spartanburg Young Professionals and the Palmetto Council Spartan District. Kam has completed numerous factory training seminars at Marvin Windows and Doors' headquarters in Warroad, MN and has completed additional training in Earthcraft and LEED building systems and EPA lead containment. Kam is fluent in German and enjoys tennis, literature and spending time with his wife and three sons.
